Course Overview
Emotional Intelligence is critical to effective leadership. The concept of non-cognitive intelligence came up years ago when it was argued that no full definition of intelligence could exist until we fully are able to define those aspects that are not related to traditionally measured cognitive skills (IQ). Research has shown that IQ alone is not enough to predict an individual’s performance or success. Improved performance and productivity, sterling leadership and general success in the lives of individuals have been recorded resulting from high emotional intelligence and optimism.
The Behavioral Management and Emotional Intelligence 2 delves deeper and helps delegates to enhance their social skills and build positive relationships in the organization. Delegates will learn how to resolve conflicts and strengthen empathy. This course describes the ability to understand and monitor one’s own and others’ feelings and emotions, discriminate among them, and use this information to guide one’s own thinking and action to excel at both the personal and corporate level.
